I'm writing a blog essentially just to make sure that I do a blog at least once a week.
So, what's going on with me...
Right now it's 3:15am. I want to go to sleep as I have work in the morning, but I really can't get to sleep yet. I need to. I've been sick the last couple of days, I should be able to, but I can't. So I'm writing this blog.
I've had a cold on roids the last couple of days. I felt terrible, but honestly, Neo Citran helped out so much. I should probably brew a cup for now and drink it while writing this, but I think I'm just going to rush this out and send it. I really hope I can get over this cold sometime soon.
More and more on my mind, I've been wanting to blog about my trip to San Diego Comic Con 2009 and, more importantly, Melissa. I want to do it before I completely forget about it, but I... I don't want it out, you know? I don't want to put it in text and have it stay there. It's strange, I know, I just... I don't want to touch the memories yet. It seems more and more I should, though, before they fade.
Future Shop sucks. I got Dexter Season 3 when it first came out, for 34.99$ Two weeks later, they released it with a bonus disc, for 5$ less. I wanted to hopefully get this new one, or at least get the discounted price. No dice. Apparently I can't get the discount because with the new disc, it's a new item, and they don't have any of the other ones. I got screwed out of money for a bonus disc they offered a week after it came out, who does that? In any case, I'm sufficiently disappointed to the point where I say screw them.
I managed to hook someone I work with on four series - The Guild, Legend of Neil, Dexter, and Firefly. Those who know me know of my love for Firefly, which is how I got her to like the others - went to her place to watch Firefly with her. The Guild, I got her hooked on with their fantastic music video, 'Do You Wanna Date My Avatar', and from there she watched the series. Legend of Neil we watched in one sitting, Dexter I showed her the first two episodes, and also watching the episode of Serenity. I lent her the DVDs, which I'm jonesing about. For me, I can watch a series over and over again as long as I have it, if I like it enough.
Quick shoutout to Sam Proof. He's keeping me up at nights.
That's all I have for now, guys. Have a good night.
Naseeb.
